Job Overview

Computech Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to drive business growth by identifying, nurturing, and closing sales opportunities for IT services and consulting solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries that could benefit from our IT services and consulting solutions.
    • Generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and digital outreach.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, tracking progress through CRM software.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building:
    • Engage with potential clients to understand their IT needs, challenges, and goals.
    • Present and articulate the company's IT services and solutions, demonstrating value and addressing client-specific pain points.
    • Foster strong relationships with clients to nurture prospects into opportunities.
  • Sales Process Management:
    • Qualify inbound leads, ensuring that client needs align with the company's offerings.
    • Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Solution Architects to prepare proposals and respond to RFPs.
    • Follow up with prospects to advance through the sales funnel and close deals.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activities, client interactions, and sales progress in CRM systems.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the marketing team to execute targeted campaigns and strategies.
    • Coordinate with the delivery and consulting teams to ensure the proposed solutions align with the client's requirements.
    • Provide insights and feedback from clients to enhance service offerings and strategies.
  • Target Achievement:
    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
    • Contribute to the achievement of overall sales team objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in IT services or consulting.
  • Strong understanding of IT services such as software development, cloud solutions, managed services, and IT consulting.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and multitask effectively.
  • A passion for technology and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
