About the Job
Medical City Fort Worth is a 350+ bed full-service Magnet Designated hospital, offering comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. As a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct evidence-based care to patients as directed by the physician or RN, ensuring that each individual receives personalized attention and support.

Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct evidence-based care to patients
- Assisting with procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed
- Performing lab and procedural tests within the LVN/LPN scope of practice, after demonstrating competency
- Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner
- Serving as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to help deliver quality patient care

Requirements
To succeed in this position, you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) licensure
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
- 1+ years applicable experience required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Care tool documentation
- IV Certification as mandated by state of practice
