Job Summary:

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists at McLaren Health Care play a vital role in producing high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnoses. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex MRI procedures, ensuring patient comfort and confidence throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specialize in performing routine and complex MRI procedures.
  • Obtain patient history, explain standard procedures, and address patient concerns to foster a sense of comfort and confidence.
  • Operate and maintain all assigned MRI equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Position patients and utilize equipment to capture high-quality images as requested by physicians.
  • Properly identify, prepare, and administer medications within the technologist's scope of practice.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of radiology technology.
  • Advanced ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
  • Current BLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in radiology.
