About the Job

As an MRI Imaging Specialist at Swedish Health Services, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. Our Diagnostic Imaging team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and outcomes.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. This position involves conducting a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, performing MRI examinations, and assuming responsibility for designated areas or procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI examinations using advanced equipment and technology.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and quality care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Promote a culture of safety and respect within the department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program.
  • Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Washington.
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
  • National Registered Technologist certification in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • National Registered Technologist certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging within one year of hire.
  • National Certified MRI Technologist certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within one year of hire.
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a radiologic technologist, with at least one year in an MRI department preferred.
Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome applicants with:

  • One year of experience in a CT Scan or MRI department.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $53.41 - $81.18 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
