MRI Imaging Specialist

As an MRI Imaging Specialist at Swedish Health Services, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care. Our Diagnostic Imaging team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and outcomes.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. This position involves conducting a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, performing MRI examinations, and assuming responsibility for designated areas or procedures.
Responsibilities- Conduct MRI examinations using advanced equipment and technology.
- Develop and implement effective strategies for improving patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and quality care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory standards.
- Promote a culture of safety and respect within the department.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program.
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Washington.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- National Registered Technologist certification in Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- National Registered Technologist certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging within one year of hire.
- National Certified MRI Technologist certification from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within one year of hire.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a radiologic technologist, with at least one year in an MRI department preferred.
We also welcome applicants with:
- One year of experience in a CT Scan or MRI department.
The estimated salary range for this position is $53.41 - $81.18 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
