Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Aide to join our team at Creekside on Whipps Mill in Louisville, KY. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by providing exceptional care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individual needs and care plans.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting resident independence.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, engaging in conversations and activities that stimulate their minds and spirits.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, including their living spaces and common areas.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care and support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Medication Technician (Med-Tech) certification preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Basic math skills and ability to accurately administer medications.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
