EHS Manager

Michael Page is seeking a seasoned Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join their team as an EHS Manager - Manufacturing Industry Leader based near Bel Air, MD.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced EHS professional to lead our EHS initiatives in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective EHS programs and policies.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• EHS Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs that ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Risk Assessment and Audits: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to identify causes of incidents and implement corrective/preventive action plans.
• Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to EHS team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality, and engineering, to integrate EHS considerations into all aspects of the business.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Strong EHS Background: Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS management, preferably in the Chemical, Aerospace, Medical Device, Food & Beverage, or general Manufacturing industry.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and standards (OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc.).
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What We Offer

In return for your expertise, we offer a competitive salary package, including:

• Base Salary: $90,000 - $135,000 per annum, depending on experience.
