Sales and Business Growth Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at BluSky, an industry leader in emergency services and restoration. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing relationships with potential customers in your assigned area of responsibility.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the restoration industry, and a strong understanding of sales strategies and techniques. They will be able to attend networking functions 2 evenings a week and maintain a valid driver's license.
A competitive base salary range is $60,000 - $95,000, with additional commission potential up to $50,000 - $160,000. BluSky offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a matching 401(k) plan, health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
This role involves face-to-face meetings, lead generation, social media engagement, and participation in trade associations. You will work closely with leadership to plan association involvement levels and budgets, and represent BluSky in tradeshows and other marketing functions.
To succeed in this position, you must be outgoing, driven, and tenacious, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to become proficient in our services and terminology, adhere to company employment standards and best practices, and provide exceptional internal and external customer service.
