Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at AndHealth. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our patients with chronic health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify patient benefits and assist with identifying secondary coverage.
  • Complete insurance verification and medication coverage determinations.
  • Assist with prior authorizations and appeals for medication access.
  • Communicate with patients regarding medication utilization and needs.
  • Consult with pharmacists and providers on clinical needs.
  • Document patient communication in specialty pharmacy software.
  • Generate reports to identify new patients and adherence-related data.
  • Manage patient referrals for specialty care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician in OH required.
  • Nationally certified - PTCB or ExCPT preferred.
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain licenses or certifications in multiple states.
