Deck Officer

As a Deck Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. We are seeking an experienced Deck Officer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, London, Houston, or Gurgaon (India). The successful candidate will have a strong background in maritime operations and excellent leadership skills. About You:
You will be responsible for overseeing the deck maintenance of the vessel, including mooring gear, anchors, cables, ropes, wires, chain, and rope stoppers. Additionally, you will supervise the work of deck ratings, prioritize tasks, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. In the event of the Captain's indisposition, you will take on the duties and responsibilities of the Captain with legal powers of command until relieved. Your qualifications include a 500t Mate Merchant mariner credential, TWIC, STCW BST: Basic Fire Fighting, STCW: Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities, and other relevant certifications. We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience, estimated to range between $120,000 to $180,000 per annum.
