Job Overview

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Imaging Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general abdominal ultrasound, OB/GYN, pelvic, transvaginal, breast, carotid/venous studies, and small parts. They must be able to competently perform ultrasound imaging examinations and procedures under the supervision of a radiologist, provider or department leadership.

This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to recognize cross-sectional anatomy. The successful candidate will also be responsible for providing clear and accurate results through the RIS/PACS and HIS systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging examinations and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues.
  • Recognize and document cross-sectional anatomy accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records through the RIS/PACS and HIS systems.
Requirements
  • ARDMS certified or ARDMS eligible with certification within the first year of employment.
  • BLS Certification through American Heart Association.
  • 30 ECE credits for re-certification within a three-year period.
  • Microsoft desktop application skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
