We are seeking an experienced Academic Leader to join our team at KIPP Nashville Public Schools. This is a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of students, families, and communities.

As an Academic Leader, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students. Your expertise in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and data-driven instruction will help us drive student growth and achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state and national standards
  • Design and deliver professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their instructional skills
  • Analyze student data to inform instructional decisions and drive school-wide initiatives
  • Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to develop and implement school-wide culture and policies

Requirements:

  • Valid Tennessee teaching license or proof of enrollment in a job-embedded Educator Preparation Program
  • Conferred Bachelor's degree
  • Pass Criminal Background Check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching or supporting diverse learners
  • Commitment to working with students from educationally under-resourced communities
  • At least two years of teaching experience

What We Offer:

  • Starting salary for first year teachers begins at $55,070; those with a conferred advanced degree begin at $60,695
  • Robust benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, supplemental insurance, and life insurance policy options
  • Certificated staff have access to the Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System pension plan (TCRS)
  • Vacation package includes 29 paid days throughout the 10-month work schedule
