Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans on patients, assisting in needle CT-guided biopsies, and working closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Obtain patient history and explain standard procedures to ensure patient comfort and understanding
• Perform a variety of CT scans, including obstetric and gynecological scans, ultrasound techniques, and radiation therapy localization
• Work under general supervision, relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care

Requirements:

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) registration
• Current/Active Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification
• Education: Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree
