Overview

Rehab Without Walls is a pioneering neuro rehabilitation program that moves individuals beyond institutional settings and into their natural home and community environment. Our continuum of care is designed to significantly help people regain functional capabilities after experiencing a brain injury, spinal cord injury or stroke/CVA.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team in providing functional rehabilitation services in the comfort of patients' homes, communities, workplaces, or schools. As an SLP with Rehab Without Walls, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team of therapists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders and develop effective treatment plans
  • Regularly reassess treatment plans, attend staffing meetings, and family conferences
  • Perform discharge evaluations, provide recommendations for home and community safety, and offer referral and education resources
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, caregivers, and family members
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
  • Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations
  • Minimum one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred

Compensation

The estimated hourly salary for this role is $52.50 based on industry standards and location.
