Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practice Nurse to join our team at Aultman Health Foundation. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a safe environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

About the Role:
The Licensed Practice Nurse is responsible for collecting comprehensive data, identifying and reporting changes in patients' status, documenting nursing activities accurately, and working within the team nursing model to implement the identified plan. You will also administer treatments and medications as prescribed, collect specimens, interact with peers and colleagues, and collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities:
• Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or the situation
• Identifies and reports changes in patients' status to Registered Nurse for evaluation
• Documents nursing activities accurately and in a timely manner
• Administers treatments and medications as prescribed
• Collects specimens as ordered
• Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues

Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current licensure to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Ohio
• IV certified
• Current BLS certification
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic nursing service, knowledge, and skills
• Demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based practice

Working Conditions:
• Working hours vary according to departmental needs
• Works under the direct supervision of an RN
• Requires full range of body motion which may include handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range

Salary:
$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
