At Leelanau Opco LLC, we are seeking a skilled Restorative Care Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing rehabilitation and restorative nursing interventions to promote the resident's ability to adapt and adjust to living as independently and safely as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Initiate rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions under the supervision of the licensed nurse.
- Perform range of motion, splint or brace assistance, and training and skill practice activities.
- Document measurable objectives and interventions in the care plan and clinical record.
- Promote resident's ability to adapt to and adjust to living as independently as possible.
- Instruct the resident in self-care activities according to the resident's abilities.
Requirements:
- Valid certification as a CNA in the state of employment.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
