Critical Care Nurse

MedStar Health seeks a dedicated Critical Care Nurse to join our Pediatric Intensive Care Team. As a Clinical Nurse in this role, you will deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients with ages ranging from neonates to 21 years.
About the RoleThis position provides the highest level of care to critically ill medical and surgical patients, including those requiring high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, continuous veno-venous hemofiltration, and inhaled nitric oxide. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver proficient nursing care to patients and families whose needs range from uncomplicated to highly complex.
- Identify current and potential complex problems of specific patient populations and analyze trends and changes in patient status to plan appropriate interventions.

Required Qualifications- ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
- Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
- Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required.
The hiring range for this position is $38.00 - $63.30 per hour. The estimated annual salary is approximately $78,720 - $131,160 based on a 36-hour workweek and 52 weeks of employment per year.
