Medical Care Specialist

The Respiratory Therapist at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center provides high-quality patient care, coordinates diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, and monitors patients receiving mechanical ventilation. This role requires a skilled professional with a strong focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Assessment: Perform thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status, including breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure, to determine the need for respiratory therapy.
- Therapeutic Procedures: Administer oxygen delivery, aerosol medication, and chest physiotherapy as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Artificial Airways: Assist in the placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' response to therapy and intervene as needed to prevent unintended responses.
- Certifications: RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RRT/RCP), Licensed Respiratory Therapist or State Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS): Obtain within 60 months of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Obtain within 60 months of employment start date.
