Event Promotion Specialist

Compensation Package: $25,000 - $35,000 per annum
About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Promotion Specialist to join our team at JACK Cleveland Casino LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing all events and promotions held at our venue.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong ability to multitask. Previous experience in the hospitality, retail, or casino industry is essential, as is the ability to deal with guests in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare event areas for promotions and events by ensuring adequate supplies and decorations are available.
- Execute promotions, assisting patrons participating in promotions by helping them swipe into invitation programs, distributing gifts, and aiding with any task regarding a promotion.
- Staff special event registration areas, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Verify all funds at the beginning and end of each shift and maintain accountability of all transactions through verification and documentation of exchanges.
- Responsible for balancing and maintaining promotions bank (Gift Cards and cash) and ensuring that all prize winner forms are completed properly and turned in for processing.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Ability to speak distinctly and persuasively.
- Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Working Conditions:
- Work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time (4 hours).
- Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property and from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator.
