About the Role

CoolSys is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing startup, maintenance, and repair operations on complex heating and cooling systems in large commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform journey-level HVAC work in installation, start-up, and repair of a wide variety of systems, including RTU, chillers, boilers, heat pumps, air handlers, cooling towers, hydronic systems, and controls.
  • Lead a team, assign work to semi-skilled workers, inspect work, and assist other skilled HVAC mechanics.
  • Train semi-skilled workers in procedures, methods, and tool usage.
  • Supervise, participate, and inventory parts, supplies, and tools on service trucks.
  • Adhere to attendance policies and attend training sessions on new technology.
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of large commercial HVAC experience supplemented by coursework in a related trade.
  • Graduation from high school or equivalent.
  • HVAC Contractors license preferred.
