About Our Client

Our client is a nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional care to their community. They are seeking an experienced Medical Revenue Operations Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the billing department to ensure accurate and timely submission of claims and collections, in accordance with third-party contract terms.
  • Daily supervision of centralized billing and collections staff functions, including accounts receivables, claims submissions, payment posting, denials tracking, medical coding analyses, and reimbursement management.
  • Manage revenue maximization by regularly reviewing, reworking, and resubmitting unprocessed claims and denials.
  • Coordinate all billing and collection operations, including orientation, training, development, coaching, corrective actions, and ongoing monitoring of staff work-related activities.
  • Analyze and report on billing and accounts receivable activity and results.
  • Communicate and provide training on changes in eligibility, insurances, coding updates, and coding errors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • 5+ years of supervising experience in a health center setting.
  • 3-5 years in a healthcare environment with knowledge of CPT codes and ICD-10 coding protocols and procedures.
  • 3-5 years of experience with EPIC Systems required; NextGen preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Well-versed in federal, state, and HIPAA privacy regulations as well as Medi-Cal and Medicare.
