Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic 3 - Electrician

Clark College is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic 3 - Electrician to join our Facilities Services Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, including primary distribution systems, motor controls, and electrical panels.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including primary distribution systems, motor controls, and electrical panels.
  • Install conduit, wiring, electrical devices, panel boards, variable frequency drives, and programmable logic controllers.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and control systems.
  • Remodel and construct facilities in accordance with project requirements.
  • Develop plans, cost estimates, and material specifications.
  • Operate tools, equipment, and machinery to fabricate, construct, and install materials and equipment.
  • May assist and operate vehicles and equipment in snow removal process during winter months.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and schedule required inspections.
  • Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and sketches.
  • Develop methods to repair and maintenance problems.
  • Lead and instruct helpers and other trade workers as needed.
  • Assist, coordinate, and/or work with other trade workers as needed.
  • Enter data on Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) as required.
Qualifications:
  • Four (4) years of electrician experience or a Current Journeyman Electrician license.
  • Current valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
  • Knowledge of Washington state electrical codes.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary Range: $5,117 - $5,929/month | Step G-M (commensurate with qualifications and experience) | Range:50G | Code: 626L

Successful candidates typically start at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases.
