About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Sports Medicine team at Christus Health in Los Alamos. This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong assessment, evaluation, decision-making, and time management skills.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will assess and treat neuromusculoskeletal & cardiorespiratory systems by physical or mechanical means to maintain or restore function impaired by injury or disease. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring the plan of care for patients served, performing and directing administration of all physical therapy modalities, and collaborating with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team throughout the process.
Requirements:
- Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy required.
- Current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure and BLS certification required.
- Demonstrates accountability, strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, and organizational skills.
Work Environment:
This role is based in a clean, well-lit, ventilated, smoke-free environment. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, combative patients, and hazardous chemicals may be present. Strong professional relationships are essential in this position.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this role is $80,000-$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and opportunities for growth and development within the organization.
