Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Coil Winding Specialist to join our Broomfield team.

The Power Pot Winder will be responsible for the winding of coils, ensuring high-quality products meet customer specifications.

The successful candidate will read and interpret winding specification documents, determine coil characteristics, and record coil number on labor recording paperwork.

They will also load conductor and insulating paper onto de-reeling mechanisms, measure materials, and adjust machines to accommodate material and verify proper alignment.

Additionally, the Coil Winding Specialist will wind and insulate coils per winding instructions, splice material as required, and remove coils from mandrel devices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need a high school diploma/GED, a minimum of 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment, and basic computer knowledge, data entry experience, and working knowledge of various equipment and tools.

You must also have basic math skills, analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working Conditions

This position is carried out in a plant environment with physical work requirements including lifting 50 lbs as needed throughout the work shift.

Work may include responding to critical customer-driven situations, which may result in working some weekends, holidays, and after normal business hours.
