About the Role

As a Consumer Loan Sales Specialist at OneMain Financial, you will play a crucial part in empowering customers by providing access to friendly, fast, and affordable financing for life's expenses. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn the lending and servicing business, allowing you to grow your career.

The salary range for this position is $17.00-$20.00 per hour, based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations
    • Develop new relationships – and maintain existing relationships - working with customers throughout the loan process and loan life cycle
      • Present financial solutions, based on customer needs, that meet their goals
        • Present customers with optional insurance products
          • Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding
            • Learn how to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools
              • Manage the life cycle of the loan, including collections activities, complying with all laws and regulations

Requirements

  • H.S Diploma/GED required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Sales, Collections or Customer Service experience
    • Bilingual – Spanish

Work Schedule

This position requires working Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with some extended hours during the week as needed which may include Saturday.
