Job Summary
The Trauma Registry Professional at UF Health Shands is responsible for the accurate and timely collection of patient care information into the Trauma Registry. This role requires a strong understanding of hospital medical records and the ability to maintain confidentiality of protected healthcare information.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and abstract detailed patient care information into the Trauma Registry
- Maintain the confidentiality of protected healthcare information
- Participate in regular validation of work quality and productivity
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelors degree in a health sciences field
- At least two years of experience in a clinical hospital setting
- Working familiarity with hospital medical records
- CAISS and / or CSTR certifications strongly preferred
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation
Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a 'non-frequent driver'.
