Job Overview

Twin Oaks Assisted Living and Memory Care is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our residents and their families. We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team and lead the culinary department in delivering high-quality food experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a passion for cooking, and the ability to work collaboratively with our dietary team. As a key member of our staff, the Head Chef will be responsible for planning, preparing, and executing delicious meals that cater to the diverse needs of our residents.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we provide opportunities for professional growth and development in a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless meal preparation and service
  • Manage food inventory, budget, and ordering processes to minimize waste and optimize resources
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Requirements
  • CPR certification and first aid training
  • FDA Food Handlers Permit
  • One year of experience in the food service industry, preferably in a senior living setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent
