Award-winning Ashland Hills Hotel is seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As an Executive Culinary Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a timely, efficient, and sanitary manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies, ensuring seamless service delivery
  • Maintain the freshness and quality of station items, adhering to our strict quality standards
  • Cook various meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using diverse methods, consistently delivering exceptional results
  • Comply with standard portion sizes, kitchen policies, and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Maintain sufficient stock levels to prevent service disruptions and optimize inventory management
  • Assist with food preparation during off-peak periods as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
  • Deliver high-quality food output while maintaining a clean, sanitary workstation and proper storage practices
  • Follow proper plate presentation and garnish guidelines, enhancing the dining experience for our guests
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace, including reach-in and walk-in coolers, and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements:

  • One year of culinary experience preferred, with a strong foundation in cooking techniques and kitchen operations
  • Relevant government licenses or certifications, such as food safety training
  • Knowledge of food preparation, materials, and equipment, including kitchen tools and appliances
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, ability to work independently, and as part of a team
  • Capacity to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a professional appearance

Compensation:

We offer a competitive hourly wage of $19-$20, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
