We are seeking a highly motivated Personal Trainer to join our Recreation Department at The Ritz-Carlton Sarasota. This role will be responsible for delivering exceptional fitness experiences for our guests.

Job Summary

In this role, you will instruct group fitness classes at all ability levels, provide advice on exercising with fitness equipment, and develop personalized exercise programs. You will also promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests, respond to emergencies, and maintain the cleanliness of the recreational area.

Responsibilities
  • Instruct group fitness classes (e.g., aerobics, spinning, strength training)
  • Provide advice to individuals on exercising with fitness equipment
  • Assess individual's current exercise program and level of fitness
  • Develop personalized exercise programs and provide fitness counseling
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
  • Respond to emergencies in accordance with local operating procedure
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the recreational area
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of related work experience
  • CPR Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Fitness Equipment Certification
  • Fitness Instruction Certification
  • Any certification or training required by local and state agencies

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
