Job Summary:

Under general supervision, the Ultrasound Technologist II uses ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of internal organs for use by Radiologists in the diagnosis of disease and the study of organ malfunction. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ultrasound principles and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Produce high-quality ultrasound images of internal organs for use by Radiologists

Explain procedures to patients, reducing anxiety and promoting trust

Deliver exceptional customer service in all aspects of the job

Work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Certified or proof of eligibility for certification by ARRT (S) or ARDMS

Current CPR (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross

Minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher

Vascular experience

Breast experience

General Abdomen experience

OB/GYN experience

MSK experience

Pediatric experience
