Medical Associates Clinic is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Scheduling Associate to join our team. With a competitive salary of $17-$20 per hour, this role offers a comprehensive benefits package including pay raises, medical insurance, 401k, flexible paid time off, and more.

Job Description

This full-time position requires a rotating shift schedule, working Monday to Friday between 6:45am and 5:00pm. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients in a polite and helpful manner, providing necessary instructions or directions.
  • Check-in patients for their appointments, reviewing and updating patient information as needed.
  • Schedule appointments for patients within our clinics or from work queues, adhering to departmental scheduling protocols.
  • Collect copays or other payments, performing accurate end-of-day balancing.
  • Provide verbal and written instructions to patients, peers, and clinical team members.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three months to one year of similar or related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy.
  • The ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • General computer knowledge and proficient keyboarding skills.

This role requires:
