We are currently seeking skilled School Health Professionals to work in a school setting. In this position, you will provide acute care services, including the management of ongoing conditions, and community-oriented health information to students, teachers, principals, and parents.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive care plans for students with ongoing health conditions
  • Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and other staff members to ensure student well-being
  • Administer medication as prescribed by doctors' orders
  • Educate students and staff on health procedures and best practices
  • Perform routine health screenings, such as hearing and vision tests
  • Maintain accurate immunization records for all students

Requirements:

  • State of Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Previous experience in school nursing or substitute nursing
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • Familiarity with state health regulations and school laws
  • BLS/CPR and First Aid certifications

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
