Orthopedic Therapist Specialist

About the Position:
">- We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Therapist Specialist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional rehabilitation services.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses to develop effective treatment plans, ensuring patient confidentiality and promoting healing and functional independence.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to adapt treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
- Provide interventions that are safe, effective, and in compliance with JAG Physical Therapy standards, including therapeutic exercise, joint mobilization, and modalities.
- Develop and implement exercise prescription for patient caseload, incorporating ADLs/IADLs, transfers, bed mobility, and community reintegration strategies.
- Provide education and training to patients and their support systems, promoting patient success and empowerment.
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirement in appropriate state (NY, NJ).
- Valid CPR License.
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software is preferred.
- Excellent oral, written communication skills, strong clinical decision-making abilities, and a commitment to patient success.
