**Job Summary**

Prelude Fertility is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embryology Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our embryology laboratory, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality outcomes for our patients.

**About the Role**

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work in a state-of-the-art embryology laboratory. You will be responsible for performing advanced technical clinical and research duties independently, interacting directly with physicians, and collaborating closely with the Laboratory Director and other team members.

**Key Responsibilities**

Conducts the full range of basic and advanced Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) laboratory procedures, including serum/media preparation, sperm preparation, egg retrievals, and embryo transfers.

Performs daily quality control activities, ensures documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner, and maintains a clean and operating laboratory.

Collaborates with the Laboratory Director and lab team to proactively identify evolving best practices and areas for improvement in laboratory processes and department operations.

Meticulously follows detailed laboratory standard operating procedures and complies with all safety policies.

Meets quality standards and numerical goals for laboratory procedures, as set by the Lab Director.

Ensures that the laboratory always has appropriate and adequate supplies available for all laboratory procedures.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Reproductive Biology, or Animal Science, and at least 5 years' experience in an IVF laboratory. You should have successfully completed a minimum of 30 supervised procedures for new skills and 20 independent procedures. A Technical Supervisor certification is preferred.

A competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health, vision, and dental packages, 18 days of accrued PTO, 11 paid holidays, 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match, adoption assistance, fertility benefits, and continuing education reimbursement.
