Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at North Valley ENT. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient movement and transport to treatment areas, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Conduct patient interviews, take vital signs, and record information on patient charts with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examinations, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are available.
  • Assist physicians with procedures, handling instruments and materials as directed.
  • Clean and sterilize instruments according to OSHA guidelines and procedures.
  • Inventory and order medical supplies and materials, ensuring a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Schedule appointments, handle payments, and maintain accurate records, including x-rays and medical history.
  • Perform secretarial tasks, complete insurance forms, and provide administrative support as needed.
Requirements
  • Medical Assistant Certification
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to observe minute changes in patient conditions
  • Fundamental knowledge of ENT procedures and protocols
  • Good mathematical skills and ability to accurately record patient information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to draw blood and understand lab paperwork and protocol
  • Knowledge of allergic responses and prescribed protocols
