Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at TDECU. As a key member of our Information Security Operations team, you will play a critical role in securing our services and improving cloud-based detection and response technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, maintain, and improve new and existing security technologies to ensure the integrity of our systems and data.
  • Identify capability gaps and help develop a strategy and roadmap for the team to address these gaps.
  • Investigate, resolve, and perform follow-up tasks on endpoint, server, and cloud infrastructure to ensure the highest level of security.
  • Perform advanced threat hunting using various security tools and techniques to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging technology issues, including security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • CISSP certification required; Azure, SANS, CCSK, CCSP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • 10+ years of technical work experience, including 7+ years in information security.
  • Experience in at least one of the following job roles: incident response, intrusion detection, penetration testing, application security, or vulnerability management.
  • 1+ year of experience in cloud security engineering.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in driving technical problems to resolution.
  • Experience with NIST security standards.
