Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and security of our youth during overnight hours, performing regular bed checks and maintaining a trauma-informed environment.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to our youth, serving as a positive role model and mentor.
  • Assist with daily and monthly responsibilities, including material organization, filing duties, and report writing.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health care.
Requirements
  • 21 years old or older
  • Criminal and child abuse clearance
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with youth in a mental health setting
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care and crisis intervention
  • Ability to obtain certification in First Aid/CPR and Violence Intervention Prevention
