CQ Partners is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) practice. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our medical team in the care and treatment of patients, as well as performing a range of administrative and clinical tasks.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for an individual who can greet and check in patients, update patient medical histories, and schedule appointments efficiently.
  • You will assist with patient intake and vitals measurement, ensuring accurate records.
  • The successful candidate will provide clinical support for providers during examinations and procedures, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations is crucial.
  • Key responsibilities also include administering medications and injections as directed by the provider, following up with patients for adverse reactions, and maintaining patient records and charting documentation.
  • You will also be responsible for sterilization and maintenance of clinical equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Excellent communication skills are required to answer phone calls and return messages in a timely manner.
  • We are looking for someone who can set up prescriptions and refills accurately, collect and process laboratory specimens, and provide patient education on treatment plans and post-treatment care.
  • Participating in monthly team meetings to improve patient experience and outcomes and clinic efficiencies is essential.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • A medical assistant certification from an accredited program is required.
  • Previous experience as a medical assistant in an ENT practice is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • You must be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
