Job Summary

The Vice President, Credit Risk Review Specialist II role serves as a second line of defense for commercial lending within the Enterprise Risk Management Division. This position is responsible for reviewing complex commercial loans to ensure proper identification of risk, adherence to policy and procedures, compliance with rules and banking regulations, risk administration, and complete credit and legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct continuous reviews of all types of commercial loans and commitments to classify loans, identify potential credit problems, and ensure conformity with Bank policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review major or complex loans, including those with deteriorating credit situations, and make recommendations for improving the Bank's position if necessary.
  • Review legal documents to ensure conformity with approved credit facility.
  • Analyze financial statements and notes, Borrowing Base Certificates, Accounts Receivable, Work in Process, Operating Statements, Real Estate Appraisals, Appraisal Reviews, Equipment Evaluations to confirm risk rating and conformity to financial covenants.
  • Prepare findings reports and written management reports assessing loan portfolio quality and risk management quality.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance.
  • 7 to 10 years of credit risk review experience preferred.
  • Commercial lending, regulatory examination, and/or portfolio management experience beneficial to this role.
