Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead our quality assurance team in Topsfield, MA. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and at least 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with 5+ years in a supervisory or management role. IPC-A-610 certification is required, and experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is highly desirable. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and have strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities
  1. Establish and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and controls.
  2. Coordinate receiving inspection, in-process, and final inspection efforts.
  3. Work directly with the manufacturing department to schedule and control inspection activities.
  4. Supervise and train all inspection personnel to commercial and military inspections.
  5. Attend production meetings and assign priorities to all levels of inspection review.
  6. Review and approve test data, repair evaluations, certificates of compliance, and other customer-required documentation.
  7. Responsible for final disposition of discrepancy reports, material correction notices, and source inspection reports.
  8. Review and approve work orders for completeness and accuracy.
  9. Work cross-functionally with engineering, design/drafting, test, manufacturing, and purchasing departments.
  10. Ensure that all incoming material is properly accounted for and dispositioned.
  11. Initiate the shipping process for final products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in quality assurance, with 5+ years in a supervisory or management role.
  • IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
