Job Responsibilities

You'll closely monitor patients' vitals, including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, heart rhythms, and respiration. Your expertise will put patients and their loved ones at ease by explaining test results in an understandable way, empowering them to make informed healthcare decisions.

As a Telemetry Nurse, you'll work collaboratively with doctors and clinical specialists to observe patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. Your enthusiasm for delivering great care, willingness to learn, and effective communication skills will be invaluable assets in this role.

This position requires an experienced Practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing and patient care, with the ability to practice independently. You'll serve as a resource person and preceptor, identifying and implementing nursing interventions with less predictable outcomes and evaluating their effectiveness.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A current California Registered Nurse license.
  • CPR, ACLS & PALs certification.
  • Six months of current medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting or specialty area.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. This position is represented by SEIU, Local 121RN and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
