About the Role:

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity for a certified healthcare professional to deliver high-quality care and services to seniors in a supportive and engaging environment. As a Certified Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, ensuring resident safety, and promoting a positive and inclusive community atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility. Provide restorative and rehabilitative procedures as instructed, and engage residents in meaningful conversation and socialization.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain resident rooms and common areas in a clean and tidy state, adhering to infection control policies and protocols.
  • Other Duties: Attend staff meetings, participate in continuing education, and contribute to a positive and respectful work environment.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience working with seniors in a residential or long-term care setting an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
