Solutions3 LLC is a leading provider of cybersecurity services, supporting prime contractors and U.S. Government customers to respond to cyber-attacks. We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Incident Manager III to join our team.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating incidents to determine their severity, developing mitigation plans, and assisting with service restoration. This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities
• Correlate incident data to identify trends in reported incidents
• Recommend defense-in-depth principles and practices
• Perform computer network defense incident triage, determining scope, urgency, and potential impact
• Research and compile known resolution steps or workarounds to mitigate potential computer network defense incidents
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to detect and defend intrusions into IT networks and conduct analysis of log data
• Monitor external data sources to maintain currency of computer network defense threat condition and determine security issues that may impact the enterprise
• Identify the cause of an incident and recognize key elements to ask external entities when learning the background and potential infection vector of an incident
• Receive and analyze network alerts from various sources within the enterprise and determine possible causes of such alerts
• Track and document computer network defense incidents from initial detection through final resolution, and work with other components within the organization to obtain and coordinate information pertaining to ongoing incidents
• Provide support during assigned shifts

Requirements
• Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
• Familiarity with NIST 800-62 (latest revision), FISMA standards as they pertain to reporting incidents, and the NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System to prioritize triaging of incidents
• Knowledge of general attack stages, recognizing and categorizing types of vulnerabilities and associated attacks, basic system administration and operating system hardening techniques, computer network defense policies, procedures, and regulations
• Desired certifications include GCIH, GCFA, GISP, GCED, CCFP, or CISSP
• Required education includes a BS in Incident Management, Operations Management, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or an HS Diploma with 7+ years of experience in incident management or cybersecurity

Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
