Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

Job Summary:
As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at Baptist Memorial Health Care, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care by performing imaging procedures and treatments according to radiology practice standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procedure/treatment plans utilizing established hospital protocols and guidelines.
- Perform imaging procedures and treatments to aid in the diagnosis and/or treatment of disease.
- Maintain equipment, procedure/treatment rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
- Participate in hospital and departmental Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care is consistent with established standards.
Requirements:
- Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire date.
- Recent experience as a Sonographer preferred.
