Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and experience working in a procedural area.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare equipment before and during procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficiency.
• Identify and assess patient condition, providing appropriate care and support.
• Establish and maintain a sterile environment, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in the orientation of new staff.
• Utilize downtime effectively, stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology with eligibility for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration or current RCIS certification.
• Previous procedural area experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training and re-training is required during orientation and must be maintained throughout employment. Advanced Life Support (ACLS) training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained during employment.

Compensation and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from $27.84 to $45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience.
