We are seeking a compassionate and skilled End-of-Life Care Specialist to join our team as a Hospice Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients in their homes, focusing on their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Job SummaryThis is a part-time, flex/per diem position with Heartland Hospice, a leading provider of hospice care services. As a Hospice Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized care that meets the unique needs of each patient and their family.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as emptying trash and changing linens
- Help patients maintain good personal hygiene and safety
- Prepare and serve light meals
- Assist with certain treatments as ordered on the aide plan of care
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
To be successful in this role, you must have a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and at least six months of experience in patient care. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing situations.
