Dermatology LPN

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our MOHS Dermatology team at Kaiser Permanente. As an integral member of our ambulatory care team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to develop your clinical skills and expertise in dermatology. You will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care services, including but not limited to:
- Preparation and organization of patients' office visits
- Focused/limited nursing assessments and triage on routine or self-limiting medical conditions
- Recognizing signs and symptoms of common and routine medical conditions/illnesses and implementing planned nursing interventions as delegated by RN/clinician
- Providing health teaching/education or advice on routine or self-limiting medical conditions, procedures, tests, surgeries, self-injections, etc.
- Documenting all pertinent data and outcomes of nursing care according to standardized procedures and policies
You will also have opportunities to participate in practice management activities, such as maintaining and adjusting clinicians' patient schedules, responding to incoming messages/requests, and facilitating follow-up duties on patients' plans of care.
About the RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A Graduate of accredited school of nursing
- A Practical Nurse License (Washington) within 6 months of hire OR Compact License: Practical Nurse within 6 months of hire
- A Basic Life Support certification
- Demonstrated clinical nursing skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills
- Demonstrated communication (written and oral) skills
- Demonstrated literacy in using computers and keyboarding
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
