About the Role:

The Colorado River Indian Tribes is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Legal Aid Director to join our team. As a key member of our Legal Aid Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional legal services to enrolled community members in civil matters. Your expertise and passion for helping others will make a significant impact on the lives of our community members.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide ongoing contact with clients in all open files
* Conduct client visitations with in-custody clients as needed
* Represent clients in Tribal Court, Superior Court, Justice Courts, and City Courts
* Conduct legal research and writing, including drafting pleadings, letters, contracts, and other legal documents
* Maintain accurate records and files

Requirements:

* Juris Doctor degree with admission to the highest Court of a State (preferably Arizona)
* Minimum of three years of post-law school work experience in a legal setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
