Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $19.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive hourly rate, team members can also earn tips averaging around $500 per month, as well as commissions on materials sold and bonuses for excellent performance.

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and professional Crew Lead/Driver to lead moving crews and ensure efficient, safe, and customer-focused moving services. This role involves driving our moving trucks, managing teams, and interacting with customers to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive moving trucks to and from customer locations safely and efficiently
  • Lead a team of movers, ensuring proper loading and unloading of customer belongings
  • Communicate effectively with customers to address their needs and concerns
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide training and support to new team members
  • Complete necessary paperwork and reports
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Meets insurance requirements to be a driver
  • Good MVR (No DUIs, Reckless, Major Accidents, Super Speeding)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable and punctual transportation
  • Availability to work weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree or current enrollment is a plus but not required
