We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our plastic injection molding team. The shift hours are 7:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., 3 days one week and 4 days the next week, with 4 hours of overtime per pay, in Macedonia, OH.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspection activities:

  • Receiving Inspection
  • 1st article inspection
  • In-process Inspections
  • Document inspection results into the ERP system
  • Perform measurements through the use of various measurement devices
  • Perform internal audits and/or 6S audits
  • Control & isolate nonconforming product
  • Participate in Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Create Quality Alerts as needed
  • Participate in Supplier and Internal Corrective Actions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Ability to work 3rd shift; and other shifts if needed

High School Diploma or GED; Associate's degree not required but a plus

1 to 3 years of injection molding experience

Ability to evaluate color visually and with measurement devices

Ability to read basic blue prints

Ability to use basic measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, etc.

Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization

Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment

CMM/VMM Experience a plus but not required

ERP system experience a plus but not required

Experience with Lean a plus but not required
