Job Summary

Axient is seeking a highly skilled Senior Program Manager to support the development of air-to-ground and hypersonic systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with experience in developmental testing and acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the acquisition strategy analysis and planning for air-to-ground and hypersonic systems.
  • Develop test planning documentation for emerging weapons programs.
  • Coordinate and schedule method of test review, Safety Review, and Test Approval Boards.
  • Forecast test assets and range requirements and serve as Point of Contact for test development.
  • Develop and analyze key program metrics, assist with program briefings, and review of prime Contractor and subcontractor performance.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Engineering and at least ten (10) years of acquisition experience to include six (6) years of T&E experience or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, range, aircraft, aircrew, data and safety constraints associated with developmental test.
  • Experience with developmental testing in a classified environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Adobe Acrobat applications.

Desired Experience

  • Special Access Program experience.
  • Experience or familiarity with MRTFB testing at locations such as Eglin AFB, Nellis AFB, Edwards AFB, China Lake NAS, Point Mugu NAS, White Sands Missile Range, and others.
  • Experience with hypersonic weapons development and defense acquisitions processes.
  • Experience with USAF and USN fighter/bomber operations and weapon systems.
  • Familiar with Air Force and Navy test processes and regulations, and with the DoD acquisition enterprise.

Security Clearance Requirement

  • Must have an active or current DoD security clearance at the Top Secret level.
  • Must be able to maintain the required clearance.
